Whistler
Outdoor enthusiasts can cycle, walk, jog or blade the Valley Trail, which gently traverses the Valley and becomes an excellent cross-country ski route during the winter season. For a unique rush, strap on a full-body harness then zooms across the forest valley between Blackcomb and Whistler on zipline cables.
Whistler is home to four championship courses designed by the greats: Jack Nicklaus, Robert Trent Jones, Jr., Arnold Palmer, and Les Furber. The scenery at each is spectacular, with snow-capped majestic peaks and an abundance of wildlife. In winter, board a helicopter for the giddy, gravity-defying rush of heli-skiing. In summer, try heli-sightseeing and heli-hiking. Ask to stop off on a glacier.
