Enjoy spectacular views of Grand Teton National Park this morning, before embarking on a gentle float trip on the Snake River, looking out for beavers, eagles, elks and other animals that live in the park. Following lunch, the rest of the day is yours to explore historic Jackson or relax at the hotel.
This morning you’ll have the unique opportunity to join a park insider for an exclusive peek into the story of Grand Teton National Park. Later you’ll travel from the Tetons to America’s first national park; Yellowstone. Your hotel for the next two nights is just steps away from the famous Old Faithful Geysers. This evening you’ll enjoy dinner at the lodge, and have the option of joining a Ranger program.
Old Faithful Inn, Yellowstone National Park (Breakfast and dinner included)Start the day in remarkable Yellowstone National Park with an expert from The Institute of the Yellowstone Association, hearing information about the park’s abundant wildlife and unique geology. After a picnic lunch, you’ll see some of the 10,000 hot springs within the park and watch the mighty Old Faithful geyser shoot its plume of steam high into the air.
Old Faithful Inn, Yellowstone National Park (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)You’ll leave Yellowstone this morning and continue your Wyoming adventure to the historic town of Cody, gaining a glimpse into the history and culture of the heyday of the American West at the Buffalo Bill Historical Centre. It’s a true cowboy experience tonight with a western-style dinner and rodeo with bucking broncos, steer wrestlers, calf ropers and barrel riders.
Holiday Inn Cody at Buffalo Bill Village (Breakfast and dinner included)Journeying through Wyoming’s Bighorn Mountains you’ll pass deep canyons, vast grasslands and blankets of wildflowers en route to the TA Guest Ranch, where an authentic ranch experience awaits. You’ll enjoy a cookhouse lunch, go horseback riding, a horse whispering or roping demonstration. Later you’ll continue to your overnight stay and dinner at another working Wyoming ranch, the Ranch at Ucross, where you’ll enjoy an old-fashioned, traditional campfire.
The Ranch at UCross, Sheridan (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)You’ll depart the Ranch at Ucross this morning and head for the Black Hills of South Dakota. Arriving at Mount Rushmore you’ll see the towering stone portraits of four American presidents carved into the stone. Tonight enjoy a farewell dinner with your fellow travelling companions.
