Created to reflect the wild Pacific landscape which surrounds it, Black Rock’s innovative design utilises water, glass, steel and wood. 133 contemporary studios and suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows for optimum nature views. All accommodations boast a gas fireplace, balcony, kitchenette, flat screen television, wireless internet and a luxurious bathroom with heated slate tile flooring, a bath and rainfall shower.

In contrast with the abundant adventure and activities which surround it, Black Rock Oceanfront Resort is a fabulous retreat. With locally-sourced products utilised in the rejuvenating treatments, Drift Spa is a tranquil paradise. In addition, there is an outdoor hot tub and fully-equipped fitness centre. Fetch Restaurant showcases fresh, local cuisine accompanied by magical ocean views, and Float Lounge offers light fare, wines and cocktails by a warming fire.

Guestroom Renovations

Black Rock Oceanfront is undergoing renovations to the Main Lodge Building from October 2024. The renovations will include new bathroom tile, new bathroom shower glass, new bathroom vanity, new carpet, new paint, new kitchen cabinets and appliances, and heat pump installation. They will be taking out two floors at a time (the floor being worked on and then a buffer floor), in an effort to keep noise and visual impact to a minimum. The project is estimated to be completed in June 2025.
