Trout Point Lodge, East Kemptville

Part of the Small Luxury Hotels of The World group, Trout Point Lodge offers a selection of suites in the three storey Main Lodge. Each room was designed to be distinctly different, but with a common Haute Rustic theme, eclectic décor and local Acadian handmade log and twig furniture. Expect original art and antiques, log walls and beamed ceilings, hand-cut stone fireplaces and furnished patios. Beaver Hall, on the banks of the Tusket River, features a further three suites and there is a two bedroom cottage located at East Meadows Lake.

The Main Lodge is an architectural masterpiece, composed from giant Eastern Spruce logs. It features the Great Room, a mezzanine library, two dining rooms and two bars. As you would expect, the outdoor recreational options are incredible. Enjoy canoeing and kayaking, geo-tours, forest bathing, cooking classes, an outdoor barrel sauna and wood-fired hot tub, swimming in the river, hiking trails and nature walks, all amidst the surrounding wilderness.

Trout Point Lodge is certified as the World’s first Starlight Hotel from the Starlight Foundation. Enjoy an amazing stargazing experience with advanced telescopic equipment and a knowledgable astronomer, from the purpose-built stargazing platform located in a riverside meadow away from the surrounding forest, allowing for nearly unobstructed 360-degree views of the sky.
