Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise from Anchorage
Anchorage, Girdwood, Whittier & Valdez
ALASKA
This kayaking tour offers an intimate experience at one of Prince William Sounds’ many calving tidewater glaciers. It is perfect for beginners and experienced kayakers. Climb aboard a motorboat for a 40-minute ride to Shoup Bay where your scenic journey begins. Over the course of the day, you will paddle for about 4 hours around floating icebergs, past a nesting colony of Black-Legged Kittiwakes, and up to the face of the glacier. Wildlife abounds in the area – birds, ducks, sea otters, and harbour seals are common. Enjoy a short walk on the beach and a lunch break with a colorful glacier view. At the end of the paddle, you will be returned to Valdez by motorboat.
