Glacier National Park will be continuing for a third year with a date entry scheme. This will apply from 26th May to 10th September 2023 in order to manage high traffic volumes within the park and avoid congestion.

A separate ticket (per vehicle) is required to access The Going to the Sun Road between the West Entrance, Camas Entrance, and Rising Sun check point.  If entering via the St Mary Entrance a ticket is required between 1st July and 10th September 2023. An additional ticket (per vehicle) will be required when accessing the North Fork area and this applies 26th May to 10th September 2023. For 2023, an additional ticket (per vehicle) will be required when accessing the following areas Two Medicine and Many Glacier. This applies 1st July to 10th September 2023. All these tickets will be valid for three days from the date of entry, with the exception of the North Fork, Two Medicine and Many Glacier which will be valid for one day only.

Ticket reservations apply if entering the park between 6am and 3pm and can be purchased via www.recreation.gov. They are anticipated to go on sale in February 2023 or perhaps 120 days in advanced of entry. The cost is $2 per ticket. To enter the park visitors will also need their National Park entry ticket (available at the entrance) or America the Beautiful or Glacier National Park pass.

If you are prebooked on a guided tour or pre-booked activity, or you are staying inside the park, a prebooked ticket will not be required. Tickets are expected to sell out, therefore please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
