Visiting Yosemite in 2023

During the summers of the last three years, reservations have been required to access Yosemite National Park. Initially due to the pandemic and this year because of critical infrastructure repairs to key visitor attractions.

For 2023 reservations are no longer required, which is great news for visitors. The Park Service do recommend that you plan your visit in advance, try to avoid arriving at peak times to avoid queues at the entrance and use the Yosemite Valley Shuttle System when possible or cosider an escorted tour.
