Yosemite National Park announced recently that it will require Temporary Vehicle Reservations for the final three weekends in February for all visitors entering the park due to increased traffic from the Natural Firefall at Horsetail Fall event.

Reservations will be required for ALL visitors arriving February 10-12, 17-19 and 24-26. Reservations will not become available on Recreation.gov until January 13, 2023 and will only be valid for 7 days.

Although February is typically a slow travel period, the events will cause a peak during what could be wintery conditions. Access to the park via YARTS or a private tour companies will be an options for visitors who dont have a reservation. Guests staying within the boundaries of the Park will not require a temporary vehicle reservation permit.
